My Story

My personal story like so many others this past year was filled with many challenges, hard work, and appreciation. I have come so far from making my first candle to running my own business. There comes a time in your life when something happens to you that causes you to re-think your life's purpose. The dreams and desires you once buried deep within your heart slowly awakens or suddenly bursts with awareness that sets you on a completely different course. This truth stares you directly in the face until you can no longer deny your calling. Frustrated, overworked and underappreciated at my former job, I realized that I would never truly be happy doing this type of work for the rest of my life. Something sparked inside of me. Now, I had to decide what I was going to do about it. It was during this time that the coronavirus entered our country. For months, we were told to stay indoors and protect ourselves from the coronavirus, social distance and wear masks. My primary focus shifted to caring for my family. For the sake of my family's health and safety, I decided not to pursue work outside of my home.

Saving Grace

Candle making was my saving grace. It allowed me to take care of my family safely from the comfort of my home. I learned as much as I could about candle making, enrolled in courses, read start-up business books, and followed successful candle entrepreneurs. I cleared out the garage and set up my workspace. I still remember making my first chunk pillar candle. It slid it out of the candle mold so effortlessly. I was very proud of myself.

What's Next

We are living in tumultuous times filled with uncertainty. I can't help but think back to a year ago or imagine that I would become a small business owner. I'm so thankful for all the love and support I have received from my family, friends and customers who have purchased my candle products. You inspire me to follow my heart as well as create from my heart.

In 2021, I hope to spend time with my family and friends, travel, and grow my business. I wish you health, happiness and much success this year!

We maintain strong relationships and build trust with our network of suppliers. When possible, we place bulk orders of raw goods and materials and select the most cost-effective shipping methods and packaging. This allows us to increase our product availability and pass these savings along to you.

We understand a lot goes into crafting high quality and safe burning candles. Our hand-poured products are always made in small batches.

We strive to offer a wide variety of colors, fragrances, textures, container shapes and sizes to compliment our products.

We work hard to develop and refine our candle-making processes, pricing and marketing strategies.

We will communicate to our customers of product delays, backorders or issues. We will notify you once our products become available again for purchase.
